The Global Security Challenge European semi finals were held in Brussels.  Dr Richard Leaver was a judge alongside representatives from the US Department of Defense and Smiths Detection.

Peter Varnish OBE  becomes Special Adviser to PegasusBridge Fund Management Limited.  He has had a distinguished career in the UK Ministry of Defence and has been recognised as a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering. Mr Varnish has used his experience in security and defence technologies to identify many novel and profitable technologies creating a number of new successful companies. He regularly chairs international conferences and has given many keynote papers on security and defence.

PegasusBridge has successfully completed its fourth investment in Pedagog Limited, based in Hengoed, Wales, which has developed cost effective SIM-enabled camera technology linked using mobile phone networks to create real-time video interaction via a middleware platform.

Richard Leaver has raised over £6,450 on the Help for Heroes "Big Battlefield Ride" which completed on 1 June 2008.    The group of 300 cyclists collectively raised over £1.5 million for the Headley Court tri-service rehabilitation centre.

April 2008

Richard Leaver will be taking part as one of the 300 sponsored cyclists in the Help for Heroes "Big Battlefield Ride".   They will be cycling some 350 miles around the battlefields of Northern France between 26 May and 1 June 2008 and back into London to the Cenotaph on the last day.  This is to raise money for the Headley Court tri-service rehabilitation centre in Leatherhead to help the recovery of wounded servicemen and women.  It is backed by the Army Benevolent Fund.  The first battlefield on the cycle route after Sword Beach is the Pegasus Bridge at Caen.
