David Sebire – Chairman
David was a partner specialising in corporate finance in a City of London firm of Chartered Accountants for nearly ten years. He has chaired a number of companies in aviation, distribution and security electronics and has taken companies from early stage to IPO and eventual onward sale.
He joined the board of Bridport Gundry plc in 1988 when the share price was 5p. He became Non-Executive Chairman in 1993 and repositioned the Company in Civil and Military Aviation products. The renamed Bridport Plc was sold in 1999 at 140p per share.
David also chaired PTS Group Plc from a £600,000 start-up to a turnover in excess of GBP 100 million. He presided over two funding rounds, an IPO to the main market and an Offer for the Company in 1999 which valued it at £56m.
David was also Chairman of key board committees of Henry Ansbacher, the investment bank for just under ten years. He is the major shareholder & Chairman of Securefast plc, a leading independent distributor of locks, magnetic locks and other security and safety products including access control. He is also the senior independent director of Acuity VCT plc and Acuity VCT 2 plc.
David Sebire is the majority partner in PegasusBridge Fund Management LLP, a UK Limited Liability Partnership regulated by the UK Financial Services Authority and which will be available to assist with transactions requiring the involvement of an FSA-regulated entity.
Richard Excell - Director
Following his initial 13 years in senior management with Procter & Gamble, Richard has spent 20 years as a global CEO of substantial international companies specialising in 'turnaround and build' situations. This included the establishment of significant companies in emerging markets.
Over the past 12 years he has held a number of Chairman, Board and advisory posts with internationally-based private and public companies, Governments and major research Universities. He has created a personal high level international network across these sectors.
During that time, Richard was Chairman of the MOD/Qinetic Feasibility study for the down selection of the 2005 UK Aircraft Carrier Contract worth USD 5 billion. He is also Chairmanship of SETsquared, the UK’s largest and most successful University/Business technology exploitation partnership (Bristol, Southampton, Bath and Surrey) with over £300m of annual research budget.
Andrew Hunt – Associate
After some 20 years with Bankers Trust Company of New York, where he headed several banking divisions and was General Manager of the London Branch, Andrew founded IFG Capital Limited in 1990, which provides a range of services both in the UK and internationally, consulting on strategy, fundraising and mergers and acquisitions to commercial and financial service companies. Its main focus has been on UK small and medium sized (SME) privately owned companies.
Andrew has a wide experience of international banking with government, financial services, corporate and project sectors in developed and emerging markets.
Andrew is also a founder director in IFG Development Initiatives Limited, an economic development consulting company which provides services to governments, multinational agencies, and the corporate and financial sectors in emerging markets. Many of its projects have been funded by the World Bank and Asian Development Bank.
Andrew is also Chairman of IDE-UK, a non-profit organization that assists poor farmers in emerging countries to increase their incomes.
Tom Beese - Director
Tom has extensive experience in advanced technologies within the computing industry, and in management. At Hewlett Packard, he was a member of the senior management team of HP’s $1.5Bn Data Protection business, focussing on the identification of new markets and development and exploitation of new technologies.
He became CEO of ClearSpeed Technology Plc, which he led from start up to AIM flotation, the company becoming recognized as a world leader in extreme high performance, very power efficient, multicore processors used within key aerospace and defence systems.
